After the stunning loss in Alabama , i am starting to worry that Trump is ruining Republicans reputation. Is Trump putting the future of the right in jeopardy?

Before Trump, the Republican party had no future. They are the party of "no" in a country full of people who demand more. Some Republican politicians have weak spines, and are afraid to say what they believe. Trump is the answer to all the shortfalls found in the Republican party today. Trump gave the Republican party a future they could never work towards on their own.

The loss in Alabama was nothing. Time to move on.

No matter what the "party of denial" thinks, says or posts here, the fact that a Democrat won in Alabama, even by a slim margin is a yuge deal.

Trump has done us all at least one favor, he has brought the cockroaches out of the dark crevices. Anyone who was pretending the GOP was not riddled with these vermin is facing stark realization.

I think it began with the Tea Party. This is a group that refuses to compromise and refutes diplomacy. That does not bode well for presenting a united front.

The {R}s reputation was ruined long before Trump and the future of which direction the {R} party will go is theirs to decide.
If the economy is strong and UE is low and the stock market is up Trump is going to be very hard to defeat and the establishment is going to need some kind of strategy to oust him in the primaries.

If the {R} party repeats and has like 17 people running for office where the debates were split into 2 groups Trump once again will have just enough support to win the nomination. I think history will repeat itself and there will be a crowded field IMO to beat Trump the field needs to be small like 2 or 3 others.

The future of the {R} party after Trump is it will be the same, tax cuts ,running uo debt, and hawkish foreign policy.
