This tax bill is just the latest example. The vast majority of American taxpayers, and virtually all middle class working people, see a sizable tax cut under the Republican tax plan. It puts money in people's pockets, stimulates business, encourages job creation.

Sadly, the individual tax cuts expire in 2027. Most everyone has read that. However, what you aren't reading about-and what the MSM is refusing to report-is WHY. It's pretty simple actually. In order to make these cuts to American taxpayers permanent, there must be 60 votes for it in the Senate. Sadly-ZERO Democratic senators were willing to do the right thing and do something to aid American workers.

Instead, every Democrat voted to screw over the American worker.
Every. Single. One

When you see the extra money in your paycheck come January-remember that. And more important-remember that next November when these same Dems that voted to deny you a tax break are begging for your vote.

How does shifting even more wealth to the top help the workers? Working stiffs are being placated with what amounts to pocket change, and in exchange we'll have even bigger deficits and likely cuts to social programs that people depend on.

This is a debate about policy. It isn't that Democrats are deciding to vote against working class people. So long as people assume that people who disagree with them must be opposed to them, we're never going to get anywhere. We can disagree on policy but still have best interests in mind. That goes for BOTH sides. I'm sick of it.

The tax bill is a temporary tax break for lots of people. The biggest benefits will be enjoyed by those that need it least. It adds to the deficit, which increases the burden on later generations. Plus it seems to set the stage for cuts to Medicare and other programs in the future. It keeps the special breaks for wealthy hedge fund managers and includes special breaks for real estate investors. Can you not even acknowledge that these facts may cause some to vote against the bill? Also. the Republicans designed this to go through on a party line and did not engage in bipartisan discussion at all.

I'll remember this in November for my representative. I'll vote AGAINST Gosar which I was planning already. Senatorally, it don't matter if Flake votes yes or no but he isn't running.

How will tax cuts at the top help the working class? We see some more relief sure, but the rich get far more help.

Some, but certainly not all or even most. The Democrat base is filled with government dependents, illegal aliens, and convicted felons.

Of course most work. What nonsense.

Not all Republicans are working people either.

Yet they are also accused of being the over-educated elite.

They don't - you are misinformed.
