Even Democrats who would have been paying the penalty for not buying health care should be relieved if another form of health care will be offered. Right now many people who had health care prior to Obamacare, hardly couldn't afford to keep health insurance with the high deductibles.

Anything is better than being lied to.

No bill will be good for everyone but at a minimum it should not be allowed for President Obama to sign a bill under false pretentious.

Another promise will be kept by President Trump.

MAGA!
Agree - this is a major promise kept by Trump. No more penalty for not buying a flawed product that YES was sold to the public under a pack of lies.

Leftists are like "If Trump repeals Obamacare, millions will lose their health insurance". What they don't realize is they forced millions of Americans to sign up for insurance or pay huge fines. If everyone wanted free healthcare, why make it required by law for people to have health insurance?

If you haven't figured it out by now then it's no use explaining to you why young, healthy people need to be in the market AND needed to be . . 'encouraged' to join the market.

It's got nothing to do with 'free healthcare' and everything to do with making sure the pool of patients includes a mixture of healthy, young people with older, less healthy people.

Well, I work in a skilled trade, and that never happens, we have to wait 90 days

Then just go single payer. It's not my preferred method but even that would be better than Obamacare which

didn't cover everyone
didn't keep costs under control
didn't institute any free market principles
cost a fortune
and had massive deductibles

Well, I kind of agree that this could speed along single payer. Hillary was talking about a 'Medicare buy-in" for those ?? and up but . . who knows.

I'm on board with single payer. Eventually it will happen as fewer and fewer employers offer insurance OR hire only part-time employers and as younger employees move to more of a 'gig' economy which seems to be where we are headed.

We need to divorce our insurance from employment.
