A father has said he found his teenage son having sex in the back of a car with a teacher from his Texas school.
Police in Bay City, 80 miles south-west of Houston, have charged the teacher, Rachel Gonzales, 44, with online solicitation and having an improper relationship with the 13-year-old boy.
I know this really isn't the point but in many of these cases we have people making cracks like "where were these teachers when I was a kid".
You know, when I was 13 I can't really imagine being interested in a 44 year old.
When I was growing up there was a woman like this teacher who took the virginity of all the young boys in the neighborhood. When some parents complained to the police they were told, "Boys will be boys. Keep your kids away from her house." My point is human nature hasn't changed, we just redefined some of it criminal acts that weren't in the past.
Every time you turn around there is another incident like this. It’s disgusting.
Is this happening with increased frequency or has the 24/7 news cycle and social media make us more aware of it?
