Great, so then you had no reason to quote me since what you and I are talking about are apples and oranges. No idea why you insist on picking a fight when we aren't even talking about the same thing.
You are the only one fighting, I am only pointing out facts, and exposing spin.

Nobody here is spinning. Just clarified the OPs statement that was very specific to market results in a given day. Your statement about long term and 9%, while true has zero to do with my statement. Again, this is clarification. Not fighting, not spin.

I am sorry you are offended by facts, but I cannot modify my comments to appease your sensitivities.

Again, you aren't even talking about the same thing as I was, nobody is offended by you. Answer this simple question:
Is a one day drop of 1.55% in the Dow a "big drop" as the op claimed?
Its either yes or no, those are your two options, and that is the ONLY thing I was referencing, not at all talking about long term, talking about TODAY only.

9% drop is quite significant. You can try to downplay it by insisting it didn't all drop in one day, but it is a meaningless claim. It didn't all drop in one day in 2007-08 either.

Clearly not what I said, nor was that my point, and you are smart enough to know that but I can see you just have bad intentions here. Good luck.
two-thirds of American adults can’t pass a basic financial literacy test.
Perfect example of why a pure democracy is a bad idea. In general the majority are not well informed.
