"sure thing" does not exist in the market

buy puts if you are so "sure" since volatility is low again even though it isnt single digit low.

How many times have I tried to explain this, but no matter how many tries, people just don't understand economics, let alone the markets...

For starters, the market does not necessarily reflect what is happening today but what will happen in the future and/or a convoluted combination of both, and the market is not so much a function of all that is the economy, let alone just the U.S. economy...

Stagnant -- do you think we are stagnant now?
If the economy isn't stagnant why is welfare so high?

When I hear Trumpees raving about how "Trump has made the economy soar", I have to ask, what has he done, exactly ? What actual acts has he performed that has affected the economy.

He has golfed, he has held a few rallies (), he has hired and fired enough people to populate Texas, and he has tweeted a lot. Do any of those actions build confidence in the consumer or the financial markets so that the economy flourishes ? I think not.

Now, if Trump had rolled up his sleeves, worked with corporations to stimulate their growth, and actually brought jobs back to America, we might have something to talk about, but he has done zilch, nada, zero.

Just because his pretty face is sitting in the WH doesn't automatically accomplish these things, it takes positive actions..........something we haven't seen any of in over a year on the job. I could have done more and a better job than he has.
