No surprise people are trying to downplay this guy. I already see somebody calling him a "loner" and a "wannabe". Why isn't anybody discussing his culture? Or his making up things about his upbringing? Or linking him to a politician?

Of course they will downplay this. Now if he had been an evil Muslim, an immigrant, or Liberal you would have never heard the end of it.
"National Socialist Movement" business card? Socialists are not "right-wing." Neo-Nazi's are left-wing, not right-wing. Socialism is identified with the Left. The Nazis were the "National Socialist Party."
Please define, "alt-right." Sounds to me like "alt-right" is synonymous with "left-wing;" i.e., the opposite of "right-wing."
I think you people, who want to connect President Trump somehow to "alt-right" and "neo-Nazis," need to learn some history.
And, by the way, "progressives," which Democrats like to call themselves, are "Marxist-socialists."
Damn..you're still pushing that tired and untrue crap?
Just because the Nazi's had socialism in their name..does not make them socialist..by a long shot--and you know this..as many times as you've been rebutted--You should learn some history..and some meanings of some terms you just do not seem to get. Actually, FYI..if any progressives are socialist..they usually lean towards Fabian Socialism--Google it up---you can make some fun arguments out of it--if you can understand it, that is.
You are never going to be able to change the narrative in this fashion..but do keep trying..it amuses.
The “alt-right,” a deeply anti-Semitic movement that calls for limited immigration, mass deportations and a new state for white, non-Jews only, has been attached to many violent incidents...
Notice how the Newsweek writer attempts to discredit entirely legitimate views on immigration by lumping them together them with racism, anti-Semitism and violence, the same tactic used by the SPLC.

Alt-right want a white ethnostate. Most Jews are European genetically. They want a white ethnostate with no Jews. Why since most Jews in the U.S are white? They want that because they are anti-semites.
At the Unite the Right rally were the leader of the alt-right himself Richard Spencer attended they chanted “The Jews will not Replace us”. Now my question to you is that chant proof of anti-semifinal. I think it is, thus making the Newsweek article 100% correct. Their simply not against immigration, their against non- European whites and Jews.

He was a lone nut ranting about a system that already had him isolated and out-gunned; he couldn't even get to his 30 seconds of notoriety until two months had passed; and now he's going to have a lot of time to "think"(?) about it. Not much of a threat, IMHO, save to those overgrown children who seek absolute (and unattainable) security.

The page contained images of Pepe the Frog, a character that has been adopted as a mascot by the alt-right, a loose knit group of nationalists, white supremacists, misogynists and conspiracy theorists. The movement was behind the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, last August that left one person dead and several seriously injured.
Of course, no outrage from the usual suspects who would be all over this if it was a black person.
And you could hear a pin drop from the Blue Lives Matter crowd.
He stopped the train? Too bad he wasn't at the controls when those two trains in Philly and Oregon derailed due to them going ridiculously fast and the engineers being too preoccupied to pay attention.
And was he a legit white supremacist or an ANTIFA just getting paid to pretend to be one? Anybody check his bank accounts for cancelled checks from George Soros?

Except Neo-Nazis and white supremacists literally call themselves "alt-right". So Hitler slaughtered Jews and blacks because he was a leftist?
