But here is the important part. who really cares about the exact number, what matter is the MASSIVE LIE TOLD BY TRUMP. Trump has been shouting about how he created this job, that job, saved this job saved job. Trump has been bragging for 12 months about how great his job creation is and how he has brought jobs home and ended offshoring etc etc... but the numbers 1 year late prove Trump has just been lying, blowing smoke, over stating. etc
Meanwhile Obama quietly did better year after year, Obama quietly fixed what bush destroyed .
Our Dear Leader's claims on jobs are clearly just another Trumpian alternative fact.

I have yet to hear a concerted effort by Democrats to claim that the BLS numbers are suddenly suspect under Trump. If there are a few it is certainly nowhere near the effort the Republicans did during Obama's administration including Trump with his claim that the real unemployment was 40%.

Lots of people have talked about a jobless recovery. The term wasn't invented by Nany Pelosi. So I'm not sure specifically what you are referring to.
If in your original statement you meant to say that politicians will spin the economy performance of their political opponents, then I could agree with such a statement. However that is far different then saying that the BLS data is being manipulated and faked.
Again, I don't ever recall at anytime an effort like many Republicans have done over the last 8 years to claim that the BLS data is fake and manipulated. There is just no substantiation for claims like Trump's that the real unemployment is 40%. I'm used to politicians making questionable claims, but some of the claims made over the last 8 years are truly laughable, except that apparently it worked with many believing the totally false claims. I can never tell with Trump, if he truly believes it (ie just another alternative fact) or he says it because he knows it works politically.

Mircea is apparently unfamiliar with how math works.
The number of jobs created in 2016 exceeds the number of jobs created in 2017.
Of course, there were more jobs at the end of 2017. Just as there were more jobs at the end of 2016, and 2015, 2014, ...
