Totally ridiculous. Let them try. With all the Mexican illegals here and their anchor babies though they just may do it without this nonsense.

Seems like a good outcome....California wants to leave the US and the majority are Chicanos so what's the problem with giving cali back to Mexico? At least they would finally get strong border and immigration control because mexico doesn't look kindly on illegals coming into their country.

Half of the United States used to be part of Mexico. California, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Utah, Nevada were all part of Mexico. I'd be surprised if US declines over time past our life times and Mexico reclaims back such regions I have mentioned. When Mexico achieved its independence in 1821 from Spain. Mexico was already a weak country, and a weak huge country. Mexico City the capital had poor communication with large areas of its country, thus making it easy for regions to feel disconnected from the rest of Mexico.

Most of the American southwest is worthless desert. The southwest will be getting even hotter and drier as the planet warms. Let mexico have it.

I guess reconquesta wasn’t such a silly notion after all. Doubt any msm will ever mention this.

California has a lot of natural resources... I wouldn't give quadrillions of dollars worth of stuff away (heck, I wouldn't give a thousand dollars away) for nothing...

Build a wall on the Nevada border and they can have it. Maybe when enough Mexicans come to California it'll finally fall in the ocean.

BS, they are right. That should be Mexican Territory. Anyone who says any different is a racist and needs to be called out.

Why would they want to take it back ? If they did, then THEY would be responsible for all the welfare, etc. The way it is now, the legal residents pay for everything. Wouldn't make any sense.

I guess Canada should reclaim some parts as well like Northern Maine where the border was set by the Webster-Ashburton treaty along with the disputed part of what was the Oregon territory.
