I thought the tax cuts were only for the rich?
It's going to be the worst thing to ever happen to the American people according to Nancy Pelosi. Oh the horror of a bill that actually helps people unlike Obamacare.

I think the DNC has to be quite concerned. The GOP without any support of the democrats passed a bill that will help essentially every working family. That is a lot of voters. And with the extra money to spend their lives will get a little better. And businesses will increase wages and hire more people.

The GOP just has to run on this and a landslide will happen in 2018. All the dems can do is point at Trump. That did not work in 2016 and won't work in 2018 because of this tax cut.

Um, yay?
Which took 3 years for the NC dept. of Revenue to figure out. Leaving a lot of us with unexpected tax shortages at end of year.

Be smart and take out more then recommended, it will not be as big a tax cut as advertised by the GOP and POTUS.

It is going to be a happy, happy day. It's going to be that way for ALL Americans. Everybody gets to have tax cuts, and for that, we all should be grateful. More money going into your pocket and not into the hands of the government. This is what our country deserves. It's what I deserve. It's what you deserve. Look forward to it!!

Exactly. The righties also forget that many of the benefits for the working class expire about when Trump would be leaving office if he (god forbid!) stuck around for 8 years, while the tax benefits for the rich stick around forever. Big shock there... not...

Additionally, none of this factors in the secondary effects of this huge, debt increasing tax plan. Yes, yes - both parties spend too much money, and nobody is denying that. But this obvious vote-buying scam simply kicks the can down the road. It's no different than deciding to only make the minimum payments on your credit cards for a few years because of all the money you'll "save."

Long story short, the tax plan is not unlike a pay-day loan scam. You can "get your money now!" but at a big price later. But did we expect anything other than a shallow, cynical vote plan from Trump?

And liberals, if you take out too much, you can donate it to the federal government for social programs... it’s odd that people will donate to a charity that takes money and pockets it but not to the federal government....

There are very small tax cuts for the middle class whereas much larger tax cuts the rich are known to take advantage of. Especially the change in Estate Tax. They'll go to the bank happy!!

Many in the middle class are loving this because they may get more in their paycheck. How much do you think....hundreds, thousands....or maybe just dollars. The reality is that this bill was designed to benefit the wealthy and corporations while giving the middle class morsels.

Vast majority will save around 1/6th of what they pay.

So if someone pays 10x what you do, it is perfectly fair they save 10x as much as you.
