Paying off accusers is nothing new. It does not equate to guilt. It's often done to avoid costly, long and drawn out litigation (as Bill O'Reilly noted in his case, which he still deny's any wrong doing). Anyone who knows anything about such cases knows this is commonly done. It in no way is an admission of guilt. Money is often the goal of such accusations. It works, that's why celebrities are often accused. It's extortion, yes, but it still works.
