Nope, actual current data shows far more overstays than crossings. Anyone who insists otherwise is the one stuck in the past.

FAIL
Don't need tanks or artillery, or even a rocket launcher.

All they need is wooden pole.

Watch this Vietnamese SWAT team make it up a 30 ft. wall in no time.

I would venture a guess that plenty of it is.
So 20 billion to build a wall that will actually keep people out, who don't belong here, seems like a good investment. See, then we follow it up with severe penalties against businesses who employ illegals, and keep corporate America swimming in profits.
It's a good first step. Oh, and by the way - building the wall will provide jobs - AND we will get Mexico to indirectly foot the bill.

Spent $800bn under Obama on turtle bridges and such.

Now $20bn for a permanent wall is too expensive?

Nonsense.

Democrats don't care about the money.

They are worried their future voting base won't be able to get in.

First guy goes up with a rope. Ties a bowline on a bight. Uses it as a sling. Guy on the ground does the same to the section of the rope near the ground.

When the top guy rappels down the far side, he pulls up the second guy.

They continue this until everyone is over the wall but the one or two remaining.

They gather up the rope. Pick up the pole. Head back home.

A drone with a camera would help to check for any border guards in the area.

I can think of a dozen men who could do this and nearly as many women.

How are they going to get their food, water, and clothing over the wall?

With a rope.

Haul it up and drop over the other side.

Geez what is the matter? Are there no synapses working today?

Well, it's half a million per year and that is half a million too many.

If the wall keeps out five million illegals over a decade, that's only $4,000 per illegal to keep them out.

When you consider all the expenses associated with their being here (crime, welfare, medical expenses, education, etc.) $4,000 per illegal is a bargan.
