Former Mexican President To Trump: 'If You Want To Build A Wall, Waste Your Money'

The U.S. isn't the only country with a president who takes shots at critics on Twitter. Vicente Fox, who made history in Mexico in 2000 when he became the first president to break 71 years of one party rule, is taking aim at President Trump.
He's frequently criticized the Trump Administration on Twitter and on air.

The wall isn't going to do a damn thing. Want to REALLY help secure the borders AND create jobs? Train and hire U.S citizens! Seeing that Trump just wants his all and nothing else matters this is just another thing that won't happen!

Fox, who served as president of Mexico for
six years until 2006, also wrote a book that in part looks at Trump and the U.S.'s relationship with Mexico. It's called Let's Move On: Beyond Fear & False Prophets. The book highlights the North American Free Trade Agreement between the U.S., Mexico and Canada. Trump has said his administration is renegotiating the terms of NAFTA. Fox argues that, "It's key and crucial that we keep ourselves united, and that we keep being the largest consumer market in the world."
Fox spoke with NPR's Lulu Garcia-Navarro about the book, his views on the Trump Administration and what he hopes for the relationship between the U.S. and Mexico.

Why would you or anyone else care what the former President of Mexico thinks regarding this? Obviously, his loyalty is to Mexico not the U.S.
If a former Mexican President is against building a wall, then building a wall is a good thing.

And once those walls are up there is no more work, HIRE more people to secure the border. Or are you against giving Americans jobs?

Then why was it discussed and The Secure Fence Act of 2006 passed before Obama became POTUS and millions more illegal aliens poured in? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secure_Fence_Act_of_2006

This is not about Trump. The Federal government has an obligation to our citizens to keep our borders secure.

Train and hire US citizens? As long as we allow illegal aliens to come and drop anchor babies, delivered and cared for financially by American taxpayers, they will continue to come.

And, before someone starts whining about how there are areas where the wall cannot be built, it is a combination of elements that will be used: https://azbigmedia.com/cbp-border-wa...ural-barriers/

I like it just fine. Like I said, if Fox is against the wall, then the wall is a good thing since his interests are those of Mexico, not the U.S. Think about that for a moment
