I saw that on Facebook. Of course the usual suspects are rejoicing. Classy bunch! I'm NO fan of American police either, but that doesn't mean I think some coward who ambushed them is a hero! Doesn't even have the grapes to look them in the eye. He has to hide like cowardly vermin! Real tough hero! I bet the 2 killed were the decent ones. You have some real brabve heroes over there. I must be unclear on what constitutes a typical American. I mean, I thought I had an idea, but it didn't involve ambushing cops or elevating cop killers to hero status.

22% of 91 police officer deaths between 2010-2014 occured during a domestic disturbance, which is the highest percentage for any type of call.
Need to start cracking down on domestic abuse, taking action against both the abuser and the abused. The abusers need stiffer sentences, and the abused need to be forcefully separated from the abuser, if they are too weak or stupid to do it themselves.
