Well the (D)s have chance to show they are not hypocrites to their own ideology. If they insist a member of Congress should be removed for grabbing ass they have to insist that this violent wife beater is removed from office.
If they do not what kind of message are they sending abused woman?
Who did the Dems say should leave Congress for grabbing ass?
This a good opportunity for the (D)s to show they are not hypocrites to their own ideology. If they supported removing a member for grabbing ass they would have to support removing a member who violently gave his wife a black eye.
If they don't what kind of message will that send to woman who are physically abused by their husbands?
What is worse a man that grabbed a little ass or one that punches his wife.
I have faith in the (D) party(lmao) and the posters in this forum that they will be consistent and insist that this woman beater be removed from office

Al Franken was actually asked by woman interviewer if he ever grabbed a woman's ass. At one time There was a whole bunch of stories of leaders from both parties .
Franken did not go down for just grabbing ass but it is being implied that you are sexual harraser by making such a pass.
So you're asking why mainstream media isn't reporting on it by quoting from a recent mainstream news article referencing a 1998 interview about something that happened in 1980? I mean, sure he seems like a slimeball and in a perfect world would never have been elected in 1982 or any election since. But what's your point again? And what does this have to do with Rob Porter?
Both sides need to stop weaponizing the MeToo narrative. Let the people intimately involved work out their own problems privately. Otherwise, do you want your employers to say they have the right to know what you do with your spouse or significant other?

Your original point seemed to be about why the media wasn't reporting on the Democrat. Except that the media had been reporting on it not just recently but in 1998 and apparently in his 1982 election, too.
