Why would we explode over an ugly painting? LOL Michele's painting captured her inner hateful self. She looks like she has been sucking on lemons. Obama's picture looks like a dried up old man. I have no problem with either picture.

So - by depicting an act, an artist is assumed to also advocate it? That is a very, very interesting viewpoint when it comes to art. Utterly nonsensical, but - interesting.

Quite alarming, isn't it? Turns out all those wicked old guys painting Salome were all about beheading people - baptists, no less - and putting their heads on platters. I will hve to re-assess my entire appreciation for art.
