For all that you don't have to lift a finger, but you pay and you pay a lot. Having government look over you is just like all the other things in their lives. The corporate HR that pretends to care, the association that fixes what breaks, the dealer who makes it possible for you not to fix anything on your car. It's learned helplessness.

This reads as if you exist in a very small box.

I'm the militia, and I'm the NRA. Nothing can overcome this.

It is my nature to double check myself. Occasionally I check crime data to determine if the need for self defense is less or more that the last time i checked. It always comes back the same, crime of all sorts is a daily occurance in all areas. Also it is interesting how many have no idea of what goes on in their own backyard.
