They cling to their guns and their religion. Truest thing Obama ever said.

Amen. That 'cling to your children' isn't on the top of the list tells you everything you need to know...

Quit putting people into one group and stereotyping them - I hate people that do that. My dad's gun club is split half and half as far as political affiliation - my dad is a Democrat and has been all his life. He hunted but didn't get into pistol shooting until he was 50. He thought guns were evil - just like many of you - but he went on to be very proficient - the president of the gun club - traveled to Camp Perry every year for competition and accumulated over 10 guns.

It's incredible cognitive dissonance. Not a single one of them ever answer.

No. Marching and protests de jour help you feel great about yourself but do very little. And the powers that be are making sure we get a new cause every month to keep us busy while those up top make money regardless of any legal changes.

Besides, I'm not anti gun, who in their right mind would be?

Those who would are those who probably benefit of gun control like the fat cats on the top, criminal circles who'll do gun smuggling in a black market?

Meanwhile one guy on Twitter spotted a detail about Emma Gonzalez's jacket.

In my small town of about 10,000 people in a VERY red state, we had a turn out of about 300 people in spite of cold and light snow. It was so great! There were a real variety of people - lots of older people, young mothers with little children, and a lot of teen students. Several ministers spoke, as did young students (and two politicians!)

I would bet that most of the people marching here are hunters, and have handguns at home for our protection. What unites us is the belief that there is a need to have an age limit for purchasing guns (no younger than 21) and a limit on the type of weapons someone can own at home.

I really think the tipping point has been reached, and over the next decade we'll see a decline in the political power of the gun industry lobby/nra (same thing.)

Today was a very happy day for America!
