When they will start to accumulate something that worth protecting, like expensive collections and young trophy wives, their opinion will change.

Doubtful. I have never seen someone shot.... bleeding and dying next to me. I would think it has a great impact on anyone who witnesses that especially teens. I think it makes them grow up fast. They are fighting for their right to live and not be gunned down in schools, churches, and movie theaters. And yes, they will vote accordingly by voting out representatives bought by the NRA

But they support killing unborn babies and want taxpayer dollars to fund planned parenthood.

Millenials are also the largest perpetrators of school shootings.

Neither have 99.999% of the folks who marched worldwide today.

Will the violence be imprinted on the tiny handful who witnessed the carnage? Likely so. But for the rest it will likely fade from their memory as time passes.

I've done some research myself. I think the perfect home defense weapon would be an AR-15 with an 11.5 inch barrel and frangible ammunition for the first 20 rounds with the last 10 rounds being hollow or soft points.

I was born in 1985, and I have no problems with AR15.

This is such a tired argument. You want a child to be born but then you could care less what happens to them. There are hundreds of thousands of kids waiting to be adopted. And you just want to keep adding to this population. How about advocating for them.

I think it affects a lot more teens now with social media. They feel more connected with people from across the country. When Columbine happened, the only way to hear those students' stories was on the news. Now you can go on social media and read first hand, uncensored accounts of what actually happened. Students posted the text messages they sent their families when they thought they were going to die, pictures they had taken throughout the day of their friends celebrating Valentines day, and continue to post their stories and how they feel in the aftermath of what happened. Its a lot more powerful, and a scenario a lot of teens can picture without having to live through it. They go to schools everyday, and they've been in lock down drills. Its frightening to think what happened to the kids in Parkland could happen at a school anywhere in the country.

Of course those who actually did live through it have a much stronger voice, but I think with social media, they're able to get a lot more people to hear their stories and support their cause.

But we made those “illegal” ( without proper license and permits )

Just like the little bolsheviks marching in the streets want for all semi automatics.

Not one inch.
