Sad to see he's passed, but happy that he no longer is trapped in his body. He was an inspirational figure, and a brilliant mind. RIP.

One of today's most brilliant people. Amazed he was able to live as long as he did, given all of his hardships. He will be missed!

It will be a long time before someone reaches Hawking's notoriety. I don't remember a time when he wasn't held up as an example of extreme intelligence. It makes me wonder who the next generation will look to for the same type of inspiration.
