Yep, people feel threatened when there is talk of attacking the second amendment, bans and other silliness. When they send a message loud and clear you buy now or never people move on it.

I have always thought the nra was stupid not to be protecting stuff like concealed carry , guns for homeowner defense and legal rights like stand your ground but they should be taking the lead in keeping guns out of the hands of criminals and mentally ill people. They have made some terrible strategic decisions that seemed more at protecting gun manufacturers than gun owners and are getting a bad name
NRA funding reflects a tiny fraction of the Republican fundraising , I wonder if as someone who believes in concealed carry , we could ever get a better and more effective lobbying organization
