Well, if he's only "a little off", he may be perfect for the team, only the best you know.

Loonies want revenge for the doc giving Trump a clean bill of health. And for getting rid of Obama holdover Shulkin. Hey, Trump gave him a chance but he blew it.

Trump just proclaimed that Jackson is "great leader" and "one of the finest people I've ever met."

The guy is doomed.

Let's hope Jackson gives Trump an extra special prostate exam during his next physical for the grief he put Jackson through...

You do realize he was employed by Obama for eight years correct?

Regardless of whether he had drinking or other problems, he's not qualified to run the VA. I bet if you asked him right now to describe the different VA departments he'd be clueless about all of it. He may be a smart guy but he'd have to spend a year figuring out who does what at the VA. Never mind trying to fix any of the problems.

The only reason Trump picked him was because he said Trump was healthy enough to be president.

Doesn't take much to get a cabinet appointment in Trumplandia.

This is all that really matters to me. Okay, so he's a drunk and abuses prescription drugs (allegedly). That itself is a problem, but bigger than that, the guy was never qualified to run the VA in the first place.

Ronnie Jackson is a doctor. That's quite an achievement. However, he's nowhere near qualified to run the 2nd biggest federal agency in the United States, behind only the US military.

White House doctor to the president? That's an important job too. And as a doctor, he's actually qualified for that gig.

But a military doctor with no real managerial or leadership experience to head an agency with over 200,000 employees? Nope.
