This is all that really matters to me. Okay, so he's a drunk and abuses prescription drugs (allegedly). That itself is a problem, but bigger than that, the guy was never qualified to run the VA in the first place.
Ronnie Jackson is a doctor. That's quite an achievement. However, he's nowhere near qualified to run the 2nd biggest federal agency in the United States, behind only the US military.
White House doctor to the president? That's an important job too. And as a doctor, he's actually qualified for that gig.
But a military doctor with no real managerial or leadership experience to head an agency with over 200,000 employees? Nope.
Ben Carson, Betsy DeVoss, etc., etc. All you have to do to get a cabinet appointment is not openly insult Trump. Qualifications never enter into it.
Trump threw him under the bus, backed it up and ran him over. He's done. He was a horrible choice, almost as unqualified for the job as Trump is for President. It reminds me of Bush and his secretary or whatever that he nominated for SCOTUS.
Loonies want revenge for the doc giving Trump a clean bill of health. And for getting rid of Obama holdover Shulkin. Hey, Trump gave him a chance but he blew it.
Well, this didn't age well, since it's clearly not "loonies" doing this.

As usual, Trump drags people down to his level. But in this case, it's a good thing that he'll end up getting the boot.

“I told Admiral Jackson just a little while ago, what do you need this for? This is a vicious group of people. … What do you need it for?” Trump said Tuesday, during a joint news conference with French President Emmanuel Macron. “I wouldn’t do it. I wouldn’t do it. What does he need it for? I don’t think personally he should do it. It would be totally his decision.”
As much as I dislike Donald Trump, I have to give credit where it is due. He promised to put lots of people to work, and he has, in his own administration. Maybe they only stick around for a week or two, but technically, he did give them a job.
How many does this make who have gone through the revolving door, 356, or 357.......I've lost count.
