I’m truly sickened at the bottomless pit of Trumpian disregard for the rule of law. I only pray this hijacked form of the GOP splinters into a fringe, non-relevant segment of our electorate.
It makes me wonder what the GOP has to hide. I've never seen such a large group of "principled people" capitulate to such a schwary individual. Are they all in on it? What's the deal?

They have to have his base to win. They are praying the largest segment of voters- independents, will swing their way.
Right now I’d say highly unlikely.
The senate is theirs, for now. The House may be solidly democrat for 2 cycles. The scariest thing for Trumpian GOP’ers ifs if the tariffs backfire- which if they do may signal a shift in Senate races. It hurts when you hit people in the pocketbooks.
And remember- the GOP as of now will eat their own, so if the midterms are an avalanche of blue and public opinion of Trump erodes further- watch the GOP turn on Trump like a Mueller target flipping.
There is so much dirt on Trump that he doesn’t want go get out that he’s worried as hell. Can’t have anyone in the administration, DOJ or the court system that won’t let him go free when he’s charged with crimes and jailed, and the GOP wants to help keep him in office to do their dirty work for them. Conservative cronyism at work for the country.
Amen to that.
Just saw him on TV where he said " No one in the White House has ever done a better job than I have".
"Almost everyone agrees that my Administration has done more in less than two years than any other Administration in the history of our Country. I’m tough as hell on people & if I weren’t, nothing would get done. Also, I question everybody & everything-which is why I got elected!"
I heard the tape of Woodward talking to Trump. Really shows Trump as the person who lies just to lie. Plus Conway showing just what Woodward talks about in his book. His staff is keeping stuff away from him. They are afraid of what he would do.

I listened to the tape also, and the thought crossed my mind that Conway HAD talked to Trump about Woodward's request to interview him, and that Trump nixed that idea. I would not be surprised if Conway and Trump played off each other... the whole thing sounded too contrived for me.
But I hate conspiracy hypothesis, so I'll just leave it out there as a consideration.
Trump is a man who does not believe in laws. Just like most of the GOP.
Well "yes" they believe in the constitution 100% and everybody but them! The GOP Republican party Congress continues to sit on their a$$ and do nothing about their liar leader of the country.

They believe in laws alright, however the laws don't apply to them.
