Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Do any of these fit The Donald?

Here are the top symptoms a narcissist may present:
  • Reaction to criticism with rage, shame or humiliation
  • Take advantage of other people to achieve his or her own goals
  • Have excessive feelings of self-importance
  • Exaggerate achievements and talents
  • Be preoccupied with fantasies of success, power, beauty, intelligence or ideal love
  • Have unreasonable expectations of favorable treatment
  • Need constant attention and admiration
  • Disregard the feelings of others, and have little ability to feel empathy
  • Have obsessive self-interest
  • Pursue mainly selfish goals

I absolutely think hes a jerk, and narcissist - exactly why I voted for him. Most people who have those traits are more successful than people who aren't. Trump is one of those guys that refuses to fail.

Everyone might not realize it now, but Trump is the best thing that happened to America in a very long time.

Yes!
Remember how the media reacted when Trump decided not to sign the Paris accords? They pretty much proclaimed that he personally doomed the planet to extinction.

You do not measure a business person by their failures alone. People like Trump that have accumulated a lot of wealth in a short time have done so by taking a lot of calculated risks, failures are a given. At the end of the day his successes far outweigh his failures.

I appreciate your honestly. I'm being candid. To admit that you voted for a man who is a jerk and a narcissist, that takes guts to say on here.

As far as him being the best thing that happened to America in a very long time, that remains to be seen. We'll have to see what type of legacy Trump leaves behind when he exits the White House, whether that's in a few months or in six years.

So far, 16 months in, Trump's presidency has mostly been a nightmare.

He probably is but who cares. There probably aren't a lot of "nice" people in positions of power. They have tough decisions to make and can't make everyone happy.

How has it been a nightmare?

Your forgot "Shows arrogant behaviors and attitudes", all of which describe Hillary Clinton

Where's the link? Or did you just pick what you wanted. Here is more of the personality disorder... You'd think if he had these feelings he couldn't be bothered with the "deplorable's"

People with narcissistic personality disorder believe they are superior or special, and often try to associate with other people they believe are unique or gifted in some way. This association enhances their self-esteem, which is typically quite fragile underneath the surface.

People! You are getting bogged down by his policies and the media. Maybe I need to clarify my question:

From what you have seen in his interactions with people on TV and how he treats his staff, does Donald Trump seem like a nice guy or jerk? If he lived nearby and you had access to him as a potential friend, would you want to be his friend, or would you stay clear because he seems like a major jerk?

" To admit that you voted for a man who is a jerk and a narcissist, that takes guts to say on here."

I don't think it takes guts to say that. It's a pragmatic approach.
