Thing that stuck to me about this story NY Times was the lawsuit claim that "Plaintiff is lesbian/gay and was born that way.” You are not born lesbian, gay, bi, or straight. That is something is learned.
You realize that's a ridiculous statement right? At what age exactly is that "learned" and is there a class for that? Now if you'd stated "Hating people who are gay and calling them deviants is something that's learned (usually from a Religious standpoint)" you'd be more correct...
Interesting. And how does one "learn" how to be gay or straight?
The main factor is probably the environments you are raised in, including how you interact with and you interact with. Indoctrination is also a possible factor.

So, how do straight, Christian parents have gay children?

It is only indoctrination if you disagree with what is taught by the teacher in question. I mean one can argue Catholic school indoctrination due to the leanings of the church associated with the school. But no, it is only indoctrination if you were taught by librualz.

This is such a tired and not well thought out argument. You do realize, that if sexuality is learned, that means you had to learn to be straight, and to not act on any gay tendencies you may have.
Also, you are putting all sexualities on the same level. That everyone starts out the same. No orientation.
So isn't that a solid argument that everyone should be treated the same, regardless of what orientation they are?
One needn't learn to be "straight". Being "gay" is deviant and isn't conducive to furthering the species. This behavior may or may not be tolerated in some societies. Simple. Any other questions?
Yes, I have a question.
How can someone be so confident in being so wrong?
