Trump has made it very clear, denuclearize and reap the benefits, or don't, and reap the consequences.
And what is he going to do? Get us into yet another unwinnable war and turn the Korean peninsula to ash? Or, would that distract him from the fires he's trying to start in the Middle East at the behest of the "religious" Armageddon crowd, who badly needs Jerusalem in the right hands for their apocalypse fantasies to happen?
Trump is an idiot. Even if the nut-ball leader of North Korea did decide to change his ways, that in no way is Trump's doing. There's nothing special about him, and his laughable "charisma" and "persuasion" holds no power outside of the millions of Americans who foolishly give that orange clown a pass for every stupid and crooked thing he does. Kim may be a nut, but even he sees Trump for the easily misled, out of control idiot that he is, and he'll use that to his advantage.

I would be surprised if any agreement was reached. I would give Trump credit but it already is looking bad after the Military exercises off the Korean coast right after agreement to meet. Wonder who the genius was that thought that was a good idea at that particular time.

Trump has already made a deal with China, South Korea and Lil Kim that essentially agrees that regardless of what direction or form cessation of hostilities, a peace treaty rather than an armistice, or actual unification occurs between the two Koreas that Kim be allowed to maintain his status as de-facto dictator of the northern region.
Kim would not even show for the photo ops otherwise. Unlike others.....he's not stupid.
