This kids Dad was booted out of air force for Domestic Violence, and NICS was not informed. SO, if NICS had been informed, Daddy would not have had guns in home for killer kid.
And, we seem to go round and round about guns, laws, rules blah blah blah.
We have a societal problem. And, it starts with lack of family. Some of these killers are products of the State, ir foster homes etc.
And we seem to minimize lack of parenting. We throw pills at our lack of parenting. Billy isnt paying attention,, give him Ritalin. Billy is depressed, SSRI..
Parenting.
And dare I say, lack of Religion in homes...
Flame on people.

My heart and prayers are with the victims, and those impacted. The damning thing is we don’t do sh-t about it... on to the next one.

The good news in all of this is at least schools will still be closed, for the most part, over the next few months because of summer break. So, we can all sleep well at night knowing there won’t be school shootings for a few months. <rolleyes>

Registration and Insurance. Something is coming. The more recalcitrant the far right, gun nuts get, the less opportunity they're going to have to sit down at the table when this issue is finally dealt with. And it will be dealt with. As a normal, reasonable gun owner this worries me.

Teens are a product of parents, teachers, news - in short, society. Where did they learn to be violent? TV, Movies, Cartoons, Games, Wars, Society, Government, and the behavior of adults. And all of this seems to be okay because the gun dealers, manufacturers, NRA, and government haven't moved anywhere to stop it. They are in bed together. Adults don't want gun reform because they don't want to give up anything.
If adults were rational and willing to give up some of their arsenal to help prevent random violence like this then maybe American kids would have a chance.

Reported early this morning that the shooter followed multiple gun pages on Facebook, and frequently "liked" many of President Trump's tweets and followed all of the Trump family on social media.

Whats the left willing to do too. Register their kids on SSRI drugs, depressed kids going to therapy? Family issues? These are some of the underlying problems with these kids. Maybe they should be brought to the school system to enlighten other parents about your kids problems.
Gun owners are in a database,, for the most part, due to having to get background with FBI. So, registering guns is BS.
We have a family society issue. Guns are a tool. Many other countries have killings too. They use knives, bats, stones, whatever tool they can get. Our Hollywood, Media, Video Game industry glorifys killers. These kids are depressed, unwanted in their minds and flow to the easiest path, drugs, violence, etc.. Parenting failure.

A normal, reasonable and logical viewpoint.

Think NASCAR and restrictor plates.

His family is conservative and church going.

He had symbols that were conflicting ideologies. He wore a bisexual pride pin on his hat in one picture. He emulated Columbine. Kid is a mess.
