It must be embarrassing to admit you are still a democrat these days.
What is actually "embarrassing" is that the major players in this investigation are all republicans. And the Trumpskulls are actually having to demonize members of their own party to support their "nothingburger" narrative.

Did Trump ask of Putin "Putie What is it going to take for me to win" and Putin says campaign your butt off, tell people what they want to hear and in the end be sure to get more votes than your opponent.
I think anyone here on CD could have given Trump the same advice.
Obama told us that no foreign power could upset our election and the voting machines are not connected so....
and we saw dirty low mudslinging ads and campaigns from both sides so....
False intel, false narratives and FAKE NEWS! ? We have seen more of that from the Left in trying to discredit and destroy Trump... Are they working with the Russians?
What exactly was collusion?
Did Putin have the dirt on Hillary (taken from her illegal server) and he black mailed her to ensure that Trump wins?
Why would he do that when Trump is a loose cannon and Hillary had a proven track record of "playing ball" ?
None of this makes sense but it is a never ending drum beat of the Left.

As has long been stated here on C-D and in many, many other places, Putin and the Russians viewed Trump as the weaker, more easily manipulated candidate, and Clinton as the stronger, less easily swayed candidate. Trump also had (and still has) many, many financial ties to Russia (and to Russian crooks), and could be blackmailed due to his personal (mis)behavior while in Russia - and elsewhere, but witnessed by Russians.
Trump is a loose cannon, yes, that's obvious. He's also gullible, narcissistic, self-indulgent, easily influenced by flattery, dishonest, without depth of character or intellect, and has adult kids who share many of his flaws.
While there was Russian influence in both campaigns (the Russians obviously hedged their bets), they equally obviously did not want the stronger candidate - Hillary Clinton - in power, as she would have made a far better adversary. So they did what they could to tilt the election to Trump, and we are still learning just how much they did with that intention.
BTW, don't buy that "fake news" line. Instead, read and watch it all - far right to far left and as much as you can find that's in between. Consider the sources. Mentally edit out the adjectives. Read international coverage as well, to get our allies' views. Mull it over, balance it out, toss out the extremes and the obvious exaggerations and deliberate misstatements - and see what's left. Don't overlook Twitter - many stories that have proved to be correct have broken on Twitter initially.
Oh, yeah, read some pre-election biographies of Donald Trump, like "The Making of Donald Trump", by one of his ghostwriters who worked directly with him on "The Art of the Deal". You'll find that Trump's character and behavior have not changed since this book and others written about him around the same time first appeared.
Then come back here and let us know what you've found out and how you feel about it.
