I am going to call out Samantha Bee on her actions. I don't know who she is, don't care. What she did was vulgar and uncalled for.
That being said, part of me wonders how much outrage there was when there people in the anti-Obama camp making fun of his wife and daughters.
Ivanka isn't President Obama's daughters or wife.
She's a member of the administration (Obama's daughters, Clinton's daughter were all a) not adults working for the administration b) were children while their parent was in office).
Was Samantha Bee crude? Of course.
Was she wrong at the core? No.
Ivanka, and Kushner, should've packed their bags long ago.
First, she was out of line and it's a horrible word that should never be used. But it's not like Ivanka is just a family member happily living her life away from the spotlight. She has an office in the White House.
Yes..and to call another woman the C word means that there is extreme hatred. Why? I mean, what could Ivanka have possibly done to invoke such hatred? Thats what it really comes down to.
They were certainly criticized by folks on the right for simply being teenagers, and doing teenager things.
To be honest, the only time that I ever heard any criticism against the Obama girls was when one of them was smoking pot on spring break..thats about it. I actaully felt sorry for them to have such hateful parents, but thats a subject for another thread in the "parenting" forum.
I never remember anyone complaining about them for being "teenagers"...

As I pointed out above, nobody said anything nasty about the Obama girls, it’s a lie to justify horrible behavior by horrible people.
Most women I know consider the C word one of the most vile words that can be said by anyone, not just men. It's a crude word, a demeaning word that demeans the user far more than its target.
As my grandfather who lived to be 102 used to preach to us. It's a small person that needs to use vulgarity to make a point or to express themselves.
Samantha Bee has just demonstrated what a small person she is.
Im no fan of Trump, now a less fan of Samantha Bee.
