The decision had nothing to do with political leanings, but more to do with the dignity of women and the integrity of the pageant. Women are done with being paraded around like cattle in front of a bunch of horny old white men like Roger Ailes.

Anywhere in Latin America is good. Women seem to really know their roll in these countries. A lot of East Asian women have the right mindset, but I don't find them particularly attractive. The same goes for most of the middle-East and pretty much the entire continent of Africa. Eastern Europe is a little out most guy's price range these days. The cat got out of the bag about how great poor Russian women are decades ago.
What a lot of people don't realize is that there are quit a few prizes that can be found in the American South if you stick to rural areas and get them young. An 18-20 year old blonde haired blue eyed cutie from some place like Alabama or North Florida is well within reach for a lot of 40 something guys if their parents raised them right through the church to be quite honest.
Just pack it in, its meaningless now. The pageant was always about beauty, poise, charm, and appeal. Now that its not, disband it.
Its like the perversions of the Boy Scouts...just shut it down, its no longer what it was...it has no essence at this point.
