Every couple of months some RWNJ posts something about how the Democrats are the real racists because of Robert Byrd and the KKK 100 years ago, etc.
And every time, people who already are RWNJs remain RWNJ's and applaud and think something incredibly clever has been exposed, and people who aren't RWNJ laugh at RWNJs attempts to deflect from what is going on in the present day.
You pretty much hit it on the head, although you didn't intend to. What have they gained from the Democratic Party's promises over those 60 years? Is everybody happy? If they are, show us how the Democrats achieved that.

Even if I considered your all or nothing premise a valid argument, those liberals who voted for Obama to be the "peace" candidate didn't get punched in the face by his policies.
