Acting Director Mick Mulvaney of the CFPB has fired the agency's entire 25 member advisory board. The Obamabot left is whinging and moaning about this, of course. But the real question here is why wasn't this done sooner?

Mick Mulvaney Fires Entire CFPB Advisory Board

Mick Mulvaney, acting director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, fired the agency’s 25-member advisory board Wednesday, days after some of its members criticized his leadership of the watchdog agency.

The CFPB said it will revamp the Consumer Advisory Board, known as the CAB, in the fall with all new members.

misleading headline.... ignores, "The CFPB said it will revamp the Consumer Advisory Board, known as the CAB, in the fall with all new members."

CFPB born of Dodd-Frank and E warren.

When GWB raised the concern Freddie and Fannie were in trouble, the dems charged him as a racist. they forced the banks to make loans to people who couldn't afford them, then they turn around and created CFPB to prevent banks from making loans to people who can't afford them!!!

Why is this a liberal vs conservative thing for you?

The people it will effect are 'consumers.' That's every single one of us.
The dude has not held any of the legally mandated meetings, and has effectively tried to stop all the work the group does.

He has gone and stopped investigations into lenders that charge 900%+ interest rates because they gave him donations.
He has literally said that he will not speak to lobbyists who do not give him money.

Mulvaney is up there with Pruitt and Pai as in it solely for his bottom line, at the expense of all Americans. The R by his name stands for Repugnant, not Republican.

doesn't matter- Trumpsters will cheer b/c their team did something. Then, much like with healthcare, taxes, and the like when it as an adverse effect on them they won't blame this, they'll find someone else: immigrants, the poor, regulations, "libs"..take your pick...yet somehow they will never grasp the connection.
