agreed. Or, at minimum, having to buy insurance retro to when you last had it, at 3x the premium rate (200% penalty, 100% an IOU).

Then, and only then, should you have the pre-existing covered.

Pay up what you OWE.

I am still waiting for you to come up with examples of countries where the working class is thriving, democracy is thriving, while unions are destroyed.

So you cant come up with any country where the working class is thriving without unions. Just as expected. Because it doesnt exist. Unions are the backbone of the democracy and the working class. Thats why the ruling class always targets unions first in their quest for total domination of the economic and political system.

Unions are responsible for their own demise.

Plus we shifted to a knowledge based economy.

Unions never adapted, as they had nothing to offer.

People must adapt if they wish to thrive. As individuals, based on individual merit.

And healthcare should have nothing to do with insurance.

Insurance is a product. Healthcare is a right.

Yes, because if it means somebody who is black or gay loses their health coverage, that's WINNING!

Nailed it.

John D. Rockefeller built his wealth on the backs of working men, women, and children. That and confiscating the natural resources of the nation for his own personal use.

Like all robber barons, he fought against trade unions.

Labor organizer Mother Jones put up a good fight though.

One benefit unions have fought for is widespread employer-based health coverage.

One of the great things about unions is that they raise the bar for everyone. Lot of employers began offering health insurance as a benefit.

They didn't do this out of the goodness of their hearts, you can bet on that.

So in other words, almost nobody should be covered.

Most people had an ear infection when they were a kid, or a stomach bug, or a broken bone.
