would conservatives call it winning or being weak for meeting with the enemy?

The hypocrisy is almost shocking... almost

I agree with your specific point... there would be calls for multi-lateral talks with multiple nations involved, if it was Obama.

What's the difference? Couldn't trust Obama with national security... couldn't trust him dealing with Iran and N. Korea.

With Trump, if nothing else - he has been a hawk for border and national security, and people have realized that he will back up his talk.

Cliff notes... Trump is more trusted on the N. Korea issue than Obama.

Not a snowball's chance in hell any Trump supporter would've supported Obama meeting with Kim. Obama would be "weak" and "giving in."

The "us vs them" political climate we find ourselves in doesn't do anybody any good.

Kinda like he did with Iran...

Kinda like he did with proclaiming a red line with Syria, and then he did nothing substantive when they crossed the line...

He has a track record.

Given Obama's track record with foreign policy, it's just as well he didn't meet with NK. His mantra of "leading from behind" is not a recipe for success.

Why couldn’t Obama be trusted? What’s a legitimate reason? The color of his skin, his middle name, or the supposed birth certificate controversy aren’t legitimate reasons.

Obama would insist Americans send all their extra cash to those poor, starving North Koreans.

Obama's weakness has nothing to do with things he did/did not get accomplished. He's just a weak person. I applaud him for being elected president for example, but he is still a weak person.
