Good. I was worried there for a minute.

Discrimination is a property right, and therefore a human right.

I think anyone wearing a hat in a restaurant should be asked to leave. It’s rude.

so a bar/restaurant on an NCAA final basketball tourney night, should kick out all those wearing hats of either team, in your opinion?

Neighborhood restaurants near Yankee stdium should kick out those, after the game, coming in with Yankee caps?

In this case, it wasn't the owner, it was the manager's deluded opinion.
The owner fired he manager for not following the owners policy.

The owner does have the right to refuse service, the manager doesn't have the right to make up their own policy for the owners business.

Ownership did not refuse the customer the manager did. The manager represents the restaurant and creating a firestorm is usually not a smart move. And ownership has a right to handle that situation as they choose and they did.

I have always believed if you have a business run it apolitical. Welcome everyone. If you want to get into politics or political activism do that instead. You mix the two together especially if you have just a single small business you are asking for trouble. The firestorm you create especially with social media fueling it is not worth it. And there are too many crazy people on each side that could do something very dangerous or destructive over it. I think you owe it to your staff and customers not to draw attention from the crazy fringe people.

Even down to putting a political bumper sticker on your car. If its a pro or anti Trump one you are asking people to mess with your car. Why do that?

I think what the manager did was fine. Private businesses shouldn't have to serve anyone.
