So that excuses this?? It may have been DNC in 2016, but in the future it could be RNC. This is ONE thing we should all AGREE on....Russian (or any foreign government) interfering in US elections has be be stopped and anyone involved brought to justice, including any US citizens who helped them whether for financial gain or political gain.

I still struggle with the thought that Trump would have masterminded any kind of collusion. That' snot his thing. He's not that complex a guy (not necessarily an insult so relax). He is pretty basic.
I don't know if others in his camp did things they shouldn't and I don't know if Trump is guilty because he knows NOW what they did then.........
but for the most part, I thought the Mueller investigation was important to find out what really happened with this election, AND it won't be such a bad thing for this country if we know for sure there was NO collusion.
Republicans should be begging for Mueller to investigate and come up with nothing because it will remove all doubt.
But this 'witch hunt' claim etc implies that Mueller is going to be able to find something that shouldn't be there.
Why not say -- dig baby dig -- nothing there....let's prove it and move on.

Where did I put any of the blame on Trump? I said we should be in agreement that the US should take steps to ensure that no foreign power interferes with our elections in the future. Certain posters refuse to agree with that statement.

Trump appeared to be upbeat and in good spirits during his joint press conference this morning with British PM Teresa May. Rosenstein made clear xuring his press conference that he had briefed Presedint Trump on this action earlier tgis week. So, apparently you are mistaken about this.

And that's what Trump and his administration should be selling.
If he is innocent - -there is nothing there -- then from day one he should have embraced the investigation saying he was anxious to find out what was going on and to prove his innocence.
He and his staff could encourage the investigation along by saying they were anxious for the results to show that the Republican party did not collude and to confirm just how extensive the problem was.
End of story.
If 9 years ago Americans were told that in 2016 Russians would be caught actively hacking into the election, with the intent to impact the results, and that the winning President was excited about meeting with Putin.......they would have freaked.........
