Naturally they are speaking out against Trump. They are the same ones that sold out the American worker and get fat off the revolving door and donors. They don't want their apple cart overturned.

We are seeing the 1st socialist US president in action. Bailing out companies while insisting the economy is booming, can't be anything other than government controlled economy aka socialism. Who would have known socialism arrived in US under the letter "R". His loyalists sure didn't, but support it anyway.

Are you a good leader or a bad leader if you have to bail-out people hurt by your own policies?

this is how I feel.

I know I'm a liberal on things like same sex marriage, abortion, etc. but fiscally -- I am a conservative. And I can't believe what we are allowing this President to do with our economy.

The only saving grace -- our economy is growing -- and it was......and it continues in spite of not because of.

I agree with everything you are saying but, might I add that as the economy is growing wages are not.
Most people I know are working 2 jobs to keep afloat. The rising cost of healthcare is also a problem.

If a tariff is a tax and causes prices to go up doesn't that kind of wipe out the tax breaks?

This president is a disaster and I really fear how long our economy is good.

Yes that is the elephant in the room.

Conventional wisdom is that as corporations record years of profit and the employment market shrinks, wages should start to rise and that's not happening.

That is a big deal.

And yes -- that extra tax money is going to gobbled up by higher prices for everything.

I hadn't been to Costco in six weeks and was shocked to see how much prices have gone up.

I also read that while consumer confidence is good, most of the spending is by the lower economic classes, on credit, so personal debt is going up.

True. As a matter of fact even Dems to not advocate government running businesses, so in this regard Trump and his supporters are left of Dems.
