I think it was the religious and racial hatred that put Trump in the WH. Those cranky old rednecks with the silly MAGA hats don`t do Facebook nor do they use Google, generally speaking. My 35 years in a steel mill taught me a lot about these people.

"Almost all of this “fake news” was either started or spread by Russian bots, including claims that the pope had endorsed Trump and that Hillary Clinton had sold weapons to the Islamic State."

"Russia also hacked voting systems in at least 39 states,"

"The Senate Intelligence Committee found that “in a small number of states” the Russians may have been able to “alter or delete voter registration data,” potentially disenfranchising Clinton voters." (Since they hacked the DNC voter analytics, they knew exactly who the these voters were.)

WikiLeaks strategically disseminated the Russian hacked Democratic documents to create the impression of misdeeds by the DNC and Clinton.

Despite the fact that there was nothing in the Russian-hacked emails beyond ordinary communication and coordination, Trump carried on like they were the Pentagon Papers.

Trump said “I love WikiLeaks” and mentioned its revelations constantly.

“This WikiLeaks stuff is unbelievable."

“Boy, that WikiLeaks has done a job on her, hasn’t it?”

Despite the constant denials from Trump and Trump supporters than none of this had any impact on the election, to this day many are still repeating the lies that the Russian social media campaign created and spread.

We can see it on this forum. Posts about how they voted for Trump because they didn't trust Clinton.

Think on that for a moment.

They proudly admit voting for a con man who lied and cheated his entire and who was supported by a campaign of Russian-told lies.

Because they didn't trust Clinton.

What a fantastic fiction novel you got going there!

In other words, that's a bunch of BS!

Those people would vote for him regardless. They'd vote for whoever was on the ticket for the GOP.

Those that decide an election are those in the middle.

Conservatives think the Russian meddling is about one thing, maybe two things, and they don't understand why the investigation is taking so long. Don't we want to make sure this can't happen again? Next time, maybe the Russians do help someone win and maybe next time it's someone you don't want to win
As the Russian hackers had already stolen the DNC voter analytic database, hacking into state voter registration lists and deleting specific names from voter registration lists would be entirely within the realm of probability. Why else hack into them?

Done strategically, who would know?

Clinton voters show up at the polls and their names aren't on the list. No one knows why. But they are sent to the Provisional Ballot table, where they wait while an election official helps them fill out a questionnaire and checks their I.D. before they get their ballot.

When the Provisional Ballots are reviewed, this ballot is thrown out because they aren't on the registered voters list.

In Michigan Trump won by 10,704 votes.

There are 4,830 precincts in Michigan. All it would take is 3 voters in each precinct.

Wouldn't actually even take this many as "Voting machines in more than one-third of all Detroit precincts registered more votes than they should have during last month’s presidential election."

"Detailed reports from the office of Wayne County Clerk Cathy Garrett show optical scanners at 248 of the city’s 662 precincts, or 37 percent, tabulated more ballots than the number of voters tallied by workers in the poll books. "

While the intelligence agencies are silent on the impact of Russia’s attack, outside experts who have examined the Kremlin campaign — which included stealing and sharing Democratic Party emails, spreading propaganda online and hacking state voter rolls —

The emails were an internal release. Even at that, they fail to discuss why the release would have hurt Hillary.

The spread of propaganda has appeared to be, the repeating of actual news events. I still fail to see how this had any affect.

Lastly, nothing was "hacked". Not a single vote was affected so how did this cause Hillary to lose?

Same crap over and over. Trump won because the DNC cheated and tilted the scales against the better candidate. Period.

I wonder what it will take for right wing folks to believe there was Russian meddling. Some at least prefer to keep their heads in the sand or up their posteriors and claim it's a "work of fiction." I'm not even talking possible collusion with the Trum campaign, just Russian meddling in the election.
