MJ is a Schedule l substance Federally. It is in the same class as opium and heroin. Not legal to possess, sell or use. (not that that is working)
What difference does it make if prostitution is also illegal at the federal level?

Just not cool.

All the pervy men should stay home and masturbate. There is no shortage of porn these days. No excuse to be such pervs.
What about the judgmental Christian moral busy bodies who say doing that stuff is also very wrong and immoral?

Depending on your definition of pervy there may be none, or all men. You'd need to explain what you mean by pervy.

That said if you think that then you might want to work on that. However promoting government control of female reproductive organs is not the best strategy to achieve a solution to your issue. What do you think women can't manage their own occupations and sexual proclivities? They need a government to tell them what they can't do? There goes gender equality.

What next repeal Roe v. Wade in an attempt to curtail the pervy-ness of men? Chastity belts?

I don't get how porn is legal but prostitution isn't
Well the US produces most of the world porn and it a form of prostitution, and it rather strange that prostitution is not legal yet.

Well, like every thing else, it has to be controlled by government for health reasons if nothing else.

If the government were to tax the income, the deficit could probably be resolved in short order.

Because the actress is paid to appear in the movie/video. They're not paid by the person having sex with them to have sex with them.

Which seems like some kind of legal hair splitting when you get down to it. It may well be too, but that's why prostitution is considered illegal, while porn isn't.

What so liberal cities such as San Francisco and Los Angeles as well as catering to the homeless, mentally ill and those addited to drugs, will also now attract prostitution.

They have enough with drug needles and human feaces on the streets without used condoms also littering the streets.

Should Prostitution be legalized and regulated?
I’m in favor of legalizing and taxing prostitution like it was done, decades ago in Europe.

Of course human trafficking and other crimes committed during the act or related to the act should stay criminal but if two adults agree to have Alex for money, then why would I care!

Just pay taxes like we all have to pay!
