The entire U.S., business industry will fall flat if Indian IT developers are sent back home.

We don't have enough technical people to take on millions of high paying jobs that will be created if the Indians are sent home.

We had a perfectly fine industry before H1Bs took it over and after some short-term pain, it would be fine again.

I work with them every day; most aren't spectacular and could be replaced by your average recent college graduate. Remember, many computer science college grads in the US end up not working in the field because they can't get onto the ladder. It's already full of foreigners.

I take it the above^^^^is your form of sarcasm. If it's not, then it's a bold faced lie

As Big D said, we did just fine without Indians working in IT here. I would say that we did even better than we are doing now with them here.

It's total BS to say that we don't have enough technical people to take these jobs. So, just stop.

Tell that BS to Americans who were laid off and replaced by H1-Bs. To add insult to injury, if they wanted their severance pay, they had to train their H1-B replacements.

Tell that BS also to college graduates who can't find work in IT.

It's time to abolish the H1-B visa program. When it was created, it was supposed to be temporary. The goal was to use the applicant fees to fund American students who wanted to go into IT. Once more Americans were trained, the H1-B visa was supposed to go away. The visa was never meant to deliberately replace Americans with H1-Bs. Its demise (H1-B visa) is long overdue.

Before the H1b came, there was no Amazon, no iphone, microsoft had Windows and Yahoo was the most successful and hot company in Silicon valley and there was nothing called startups.

Welcome to the connected world.

And what does the above^^^^have to do with the topic at hand? Answer: Nothing. Or are you attempting to give credit to all the H1-Bs for the creation of those companies? Gimme a break.

The H1-B visa program is no longer needed. That has nothing to do with what you are talking about. Nor does it excuse the fact that the H1-B visa is being used to lay off Americans and replace them with H1-Bs. Nor does it excuse the fact that recent college grads are having a hard time entering IT.

There is nothing to stop other countries from creating "start ups".

Your sarcasm falls flat.

Welcome to the connected world.
Netscape was the big-hitter in the internet browser world until Microsoft brought them to their knees.

Only those who can't compete, cry about H1Bs.

They don't know how the world works and they should read some books instead of watching Fox news

Per the bolded --- That's an outright lie---and you know it, too. So stop repeating it.

Tell that lie of yours to all the Americans who were laid off and replaced with H1-Bs---those same Americans who were forced to train their H1-B replacements if they wanted to get their severance pay.

Tell that lie of yours to all the qualified Americans who applied for jobs and were blatantly discriminated against by the Indians who were doing the hiring.

Tell that lie of yours to the young Americans coming out of college well trained and capable to enter the IT field who were passed over in favor of H1-Bs.

It's YOU who doesn't have a clue. You need to stop embarrassing yourself

It's long past time for you to educate yourself on this issue:

Tech sector has lowest rate of unemployment.

If you are good, you should have zero problem
