What, exactly, has Trump said that makes you think he dislikes Hispanics? Oh, wait...! It's because he has spoken about illegal immigration from those south of the border. Well...here's a fact for you---those countries south of the Border are, for the most, part populated with Hispanics. So, naturally, most illegals sneaking in are going to be Hispanics.

That said, you are really naive if you think that there aren't OTMs sneaking in with the sole purpose of doing harm. Plus there are those who fly into Mexico and hire coyotes to sneak them in here.

I'm of Hispanic descent and if I thought for one minute that Trump hated Hispanics, he would never have gotten my vote.

How about, for once, being truly "neutral" and make an effort to read and understand both sides instead of claiming that Trump hates Hispanics?

Tee Hee! I love to see the left's tactics MAJOR FAIL! Hispanics, who are citizens of this country, really want the things that are right. not everyone is in the poor illegal bandwagon. Thank you for everyone who is using their own brain to think and do!

Thank you to all who pointed out that Hispanics are not a monolith that wants open borders and amnesty and vote straight D every single election.

To those of you who think like that---way to go stereotyping an entire group of people. That's so open-minded of you all/sarcasm.

Exactly. Legal Latino immigrants highly resent the illegal aliens. Immigrating legally cost them a lot of time and money, and the illegals not only jump the immigration line, they immigrate for free.

Yes, because you had to bring black people into the conversation.

Blacks tend to vote 90%+ for the Democrats. That is a well documented, statistical fact. No other group behaves in this way.

Nevertheless, the Democrats continue to push their "Political correctness" and identity politics agenda, which "expects" that certain groups will vote for the Democrats with this same degree of lock-step orthodox party loyalty.

It is not happening and it is not going to happen, and it is definitely not going to happen for Hispanics.

Nah, I know a whole slew of legal Hispanics, and they do not resent illegals.

I think Hispanic vote would be split more or less 50/50 if GOP didn't work OT pushing them away.

Cubans typically do not support illegal immigration. Puerto Ricans don't either - immigration has nothing to do with them. Also, plenty of people of other "hispanic" nationality groups who are citizens or legal residents in the U.S don't support illegal immigration.

The illegal immigrant cause is more of a Mexican-American issue that only they support. Mexicans project their opinions onto everybody else with the "Latino" pan-ethnic label in the media.
