People are getting numb to this kind of stuff, but only few years ago this would have been a huge deal.

Trump backs boycott of Harley Davidson in steel tariff dispute

https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/comp...ute/ar-BBLPiSW

The Wisconsin-based motorcycle manufacturer announced a plan earlier this year to move production of motorcycles for the European Union from the United States to its overseas facilities to avoid the tariffs imposed by the trading bloc in retaliation for Trump's duties on steel and aluminum imports.

In response, Trump has criticized Harley Davidson, calling for higher, targeted taxes and threatening to lure foreign producers to the United States to increase competition.

How about a St. Lous paper.

What a small time clown....what POTUS would push boycotting an American Company....or, in fact, any company that didn't commit a crime of sorts??

So he is calling for tariffs....OK...doubt it will happen but as you said people are numb to it because of what happened to tea party groups under Obama.

Yes--it is unbelievable that a president would encourage a boycott of a US company. It is appalling.

Yes, burying your head in the sand gives the illusion that there is nothing going on. Unfortunately this is being reported by many sources. Also, when the MSM article says "Reuters", it should give you a clue.

I am sure a European loyalist such as yourself loves to see an American company get kicked in the teeth by an American president.
