Or.....maybe, just maybe, the reason why it's cheaper to order from the UK is that private companies aren't allowed to have a free-for-all in profiting off of people's health?

The British have analogs of the agencies you listed (MHRA, HMRC, SOCA).

Are employers or workers ready to pay that?
We are already paying $3.5 trillion per year, 18% of GDP or over $40 000 for "a family of four" and significantly more than any other country.

If you dont work and are on disability, you still pay a health care tax on that money in most European countries. You didnt answer the question though. Regarding sales taxes, a rich person might spend $500 000 a year and pay $50 000 a year in "regressive taxation". A poor person might spend $12000 a year and pay $1200 a year in "regressive taxation". So the rich person pays $50 000 into the system and the poor person pays $1200 into the system. Thats the wonders of taxation, ability to pay is taken into account. Even under a "regressive taxation system". Thats not the case with a for-profit health care system. You cant pay the $3000 a month cancer bills? You have to die. Whats so great about that?

The UK has one of the most socialized health care systems in the world, far more socialized than Medicare. The federal government is everywhere in the UK health care system.

There is something wrong with this country, and I am starting to think I can sum it up pretty easily:

We would rather put up with this mess than "give" anything to those we deem undeserving, even if it means cutting off our nose to spite our face.
The problem is that no one can "give" to others without "taking" it (or the cost of it) from someone else. Americans don't like the concept of slavery. Our country actually fought a war over it in which millions died.

Yeah, providing health care to the people is slavery....lol.

But you are against Medicare as well, so you're a fringe minority. Americans love it and if we ever get Medicare-for-all, the ruling class would have a tremendous task trying to rip that away from Americans.

Good thing the gov and its FDA give a handful of insulin providers a market exclusive and would shut down any competitor on their behalf who might try to bring a less expensive product to market (and with guns if necessary).
once the guv fully takes over healthcare and has to deficit spend to keep it alive (like all other schemes it purports to run) many will be told its cheaper for them to die, remain in pain, not get needed treatments, etc. and they will also find that govt bureacrats are no more compassionate than those employed at insurance co's.

Who did Trump hire as the FDA boss? Do you know who it was and what his background is?

No, that's not it. They're CooperVision contact lenses. Headquartered in California.

When it's paid for by taking earned income from someone else, yes, it is slavery.
