Democrats/Liberals know that words are powerful and people are easily manipulated with words/ in this case the lack of a word. That's why the left is so big into political correctness, it's mind control.

“Illegal aliens” became “illegal immigrants” and then “undocumented immigrants” then "immigrants and presto-chango, something bad was magically transformed into something good.

Appears he's here legally, so none of the above.

That said, it doesn't matter if the man was legal or not, this was a horrible thing to happen to a precious girl.
Ok, so we can go back to what to do about all the murders of innocent people in Chicago?

In the "not proven yet" department, what if the guy IS legal? The Repub. says he is according to lawyer:

"Rivera has lived in Iowa for four to seven years, working at Yarrabee Farms, a Brooklyn, Iowa-area farm owned by the family of Craig Lang, a prominent Iowa Republican.

Craig Lang has verified that Rivera is in Iowa legally, according to Richards' motion.

"Craig Lang supports Cristhian’s right to be in this jurisdiction and for the government to support any other idea of status publicly flies in the face of such statement," Richards wrote."

Would Trump apologize? Would the millions of Trumpies who jumped the gun change their minds and say they are sorry?

Of course not.

As I said, we don't know anything. Have Mueller investigate.....

Having a POTUS charging people with things off-the-cuff is deeply troubling. I can understand those here who lack patience....but, wow, unheard of for a POTUS.

It DOES matter big time when the POTUS and his White House is using it to gin up hate.

It's likely that such hate creates more violence and tragedy - that is what history shows us.

Ah... This is a general statement..

Fact is, when someone is here illegally, the are "illegal aliens, not immigrants.
