wow, somebody exaggerating to sell his book? unheard of, shocking!!!.....unless his book talks about a house party in 1982 with 4 boys that resembles the accusations by Mrs. Ford then what he wrote in his book has nothing to do with the case.
If you want to discount Judge as a witness because he doesn't have any recollection then MRS. Ford has nobody to back up her claim that a party and a house she attended ever existed.
She has to provide evidence that the party and the house exist. she has provided zero evidence.....not a friend, no a family member or anybody in this alleged party and house.....without that she can't place the Judge or his friends in the house without anybody backing up her story first hand.
And the one friend that said yea, it happened has also backed out of her statement.....
Kavanaugh wanted to rush everything. This past Monday he pushed for a hearing the next day. Now he's saying he wants it to happen Monday as scheduled. What is he worried about, the truth coming out?
Can't, (or will not - which I doubt), support the accusation...yeah, playing for time. Keep that ball in the air. We all know the target audience; get those votes ginned up for the mid-terms. Stoke that outrage porn.

Well, to be perfectly honest, yes...
When I was 11 or 12 years old, I watched an elderly man die of acute coronary thrombosis (coroner's diagnosis). I have held the memory of every detail of that slow, painful death, including his sphincters relaxing as he died, ever since. What I do not remember is where it happened (on a mountain behind Ashley Lake?), what year it happened, what day of the month it happened, what month (it was in the summer) it happened, or what time of day it was (it was in the afternoon, because we had eaten our lunch). So, yes, I believe Ford can remember this incident, but not the details.
It really doesn't matter if I (or anybody) believes her description of the incident or not. She has no proof of her allegations. None whatsoever. No physical evidence at all, not even a torn swim suit (if it was torn, that hasn't been described to my limited knowledge). No police report was filed at the time of the occurrence. Calling for an investigation is an exercise in futility: There is nothing to investigate. There were apparently three eye-witnesses. Two of them say it didn't happen, or if it did happen it did not involve BK. A classic "She said, He Said" scenario. Who do we believe?
Personally, given BK's life since then, and the fact that so far no other "Me Too" women have come forward, I do not believe Ford.
Oh, yes, I believe she has the memories, but I do not believe the memories reflect reality.
This whole affair reeks with dead-rat stink to me and here's why: I was raped at age 13 by my sister-in-law's brother who was 20-21 years old. After raping me he put me back on my horse and told me not to tell anyone or my reputation will be in the sewer and no one will ever marry you. In my culture that could have been true for that period. I came from a fairly educated middle class family and was taught right and wrong, and where to draw the lines. I went home and told my older sister who told my older brother who told my parents. My family supported me through the healing process and the men of the family took care of other business.I can recall that traumatic humiliating event still to this day and am now in my 60s with grandkids. I've lived a fairly happy adventurous normal life. This female accuser can't remember details that is highly pertinent to accusation she is making against this man who is going to be a Supreme Court Judge. She was not from a poor, immigrant, or un-educated family who didn't have a voice (I checked her family history). Just because someone cries wolf doesn't mean there is a wolf at the door. I have over the years seen and heard few females point a finger at completely innocent boy/men and ruined their lives (type of work I did). I have also seen/heard boys/men ruin females lives by molesting, raping, trashing them. Waiting 35-40 years to point a finger at a man in public when never spoken of prior to is in my opinion an act of Jezebel types and we as a people ought to recognize them and nip it in the bud! And if Kavanaugh did it while drunk as a teenager given his age and where he is now and how he has conducted himself all along the way well it speaks for itself. My question is why did she sit quiet for so long? She is a professor in a university so what has she been professing all these years?

You make valid arguments to which I might add to those still backing this farcical hatchet job a question, to wit: "Why do you back Ford and her claims?" Is it because this person has boobs so she MUST be believed? C'mon, be honest all of you who've been blathering and yapping on about Kavanaugh's guilt answer the very simple question, WHY DO YOU BELIEVE HER.
You don't KNOW her, nobody on here has heard the WHOLE story from her because Di-Fi, her attorney and other pols REFUSE to release anything but the most basic redacted letter. Hell, most of the pols bouncing their gums in support of Ford haven't themselves even seen the WHOLE letter, just what Di-Fi wants 'em to see but they're our there claiming how she's right and he's a felon. Ford, her lawyer and several congresscritters are doing EVERYTHING in their power to divert,delay and bend the legal system for their own agenda. Demands,demands,demands from the accuser or her reps. That's NOT how the system works. Show up Monday, say your piece and let the legal system take it's course.
This is ALL about Abortion and the "I hate Trump" crowd at this point. Have a hearing on Monday, she makes her case and he makes his, that's how the system is supposed to work...

More innuendo and sliming someone. OF COURSE there's no mention of anything that could be in any way seen as in Kavanaugh's favor THAT wouldn't draw eyeballs and would certainly draw the ire of their target audience.
You seem to be one of her "believers". WHY? Why is she to be automatically believable?
if innocent people are in prison then people could be falsely accused without a trial....
to say "I believe Dr. Ford" without reading her testimony under oath under questions and without any evidence or witnesses and without you being present in that alleged party in that house in 1982 (if it ever existed in the first place) shows people's ignorance.
I wasn't there......you won't never hear me say " I believe here or him".....I have to go with the evidence, in this case the lack of.
I personally don't like how the Democrats handled this and held this until the 13th hour for politics. I want to know who outed her to the media or if it was Dr. Ford that contacted the WP on her own....because if that's the case there is a contradiction from her letter versus her actions that she has to answer because it goes to motive.
The Washington Post has already stated that she contacted them.
