Not sure about questioning from senators. Do senators often designate counsel to ask their questions? Seems like they normally want to do it themselves so why not now?

What safety measures? Travel security? This sounds like an open-ended item that will provide a way to back out at any time by simply claiming she doesn't feel safe.

Tuesday at the latest. There is no reason to delay until Thursday. That is late enough in the week that another snag pushes it into the following week.

She has no business demanding the Senate issue subpoenas. If she wants to play that game, I say the Senate should end the negotiations and issue a subpoena to HER to appear on the date and under whatever terms they choose. "Ms Ford, you shall appear on Tuesday at 10am, and it is none of your business who (questioners, witnesses, observers, press) we decide to have in the room."

Exactly! Her appearance and testimony should be at the convenience of the Senate Committee, not HER convenience!
Just issue the subpoena and have done with it.

Donald Trump just tweeted this 7 minutes ago.

Little Donald himself says he wants a date, time, and place....so that means he wants an FBI investigation so all parties involved can testify, right?

Why should he stay out of it? It's his nominee after all. On top of that, is what he's said wrong?

Why didn't she, instead of running to Di-fi go to the police NOW?

Good question. THAT'S where this needs to start.

I went to a poor to middle class school, and drinking alcohol and having wild parties was common there too. The drinking age was 18 then, so half the senior class could buy alcohol legally.

Trump's two year old self can't stand to have this process drawn out even to give it a semblance of fairness..
and the ones behind Kavanaugh--who need Kavanaugh to protect Trump and themselves if push comes to shove--they know the time to push Kavanaugh through is closing quickly...

Trump just went back to the well of familiar ways to accuse the accusers--
Saying if the attack was as bad as she claims then he is sure she and her parents went to the authorities and filed an assault charge against Kavanaugh--
So Trump is saying show us the proof of those charges...

Of course he knows there was no charge--she was a 15 year old girl--she didn't come forward to her parents or to the authorities--
This is just a more polite form of calling her a liar--
And I doubt that Trump wrote that tweet--
It is too controlled, too focused, and too smart to be Trump's...
Why do you believe her and why didn't she go to the local PD instead of running to Di-Fi? C'mon, will your TDS allow you to articulate an answer?
