Assuming you are an average middle class American voter, I seriously want to know what conservative judges and courts mean to you? What specifically do you care about that you think this "W" will improve your lot and advance our country?
I personally believe Trump is primarily a social backlash against the liberalism of the Obama years, most specifically the SCOTUS decision to legalize same-sex marriage and the increased visibility of transgender people in the media and Obama's support of them starting with Caitlyn Jenner. Add to that the fact that the Democrats ran the exact candidate that Rush Limbaugh and other right-wing pundits have been demonizing for a quarter of a century. Conservatives and especially the Christian Right were on fire in 2016 while Democrats were overall complacent, stuck with a status quo candidate who didn't really energize her base.
Most people today don't care about how corrupt Trump is because he represents something bigger than that to them. In the minds of his supporters, he represents the "American values" based around the nuclear family, the flag, and the Bible that were displayed on classic TV shows like Leave it to Beaver and The Andy Griffith Show. Trump represents our last chance as America to return to the societal order that supposedly dominated the 1950s with white Christian men in control and everyone else knowing their place in society (and happy to remain there). That's why no matter what Trump does it doesn't phase his popularity.

And as long as the remaining Democrats continue to call large parts of America "deplorable", stupid and racist, instead of figuring out why they did lose America, then that is where they remain. Their disgust of working America, as demonstrated by the post you responded to, is self evident.

To be fair, the democracts didn't lose all voters. They lost mostly white voters like myself. Most non whites remain dependably dem.
