The charges he is answering to took place before he joined the Trump Campaign. Matter of fact it was on Obama's watch, will this tarnish the sterling reputation of Obama .lol

Manafort’s $broke. He might as well do a plea deal and wait/hope for pardon from Trump. Without pardons he already has a life sentence - more years just won’t matter. He might as well save whatever money he has for his wife. Maybe he can sell his ostrich coat?! I’ll look on eBay - always wanted one!

Plea deal for what? Manafort will already be spending a long time in jail when he gets sentenced and may get his sentence commuted by Trump, at a later date.
Manafort is not going to risk, no commuting of his sentence by working with Mueller and it seems the left always wants to make it sound like there is something on Trump, but so far it is the FBI top including Mueller, who will be or are investigated!

IF this report is accurate, it could be because as an older man he doesn't want to wait 2+ years for a pardon, which may never come, from his unindicted co-conspirator.
Many Americans live in dream world where Trump really is a good person. But here on earth, Trump is a scumbag and all his crimes and wrongdoings of the past are catching up to him.
Mueller, the DOJ, and the FBI better get some serious security for Paul Manafort if he does flip. There's probably a lot of Trump's business associates and mobsters in Russia who will want Paul dead before he can spill the beans about everything he knows.

I am thinking about the same thing. People or certainly the left forget he wasn't part of the Trump campaign all that long.
