“We shouldn’t be so quick to blame police officers.”

Whaaaaaat? That’s his response to the Botham Jean shooting. And you wonder why African Americans remain highly suspicious of the Republican Party!

I'll agree with you on this one. Yes, that's incredibly stupid. What I disagree with is your indirect claim that Ted Cruz = the Republican Party. He's "a" Republican. Some are stupid, some are not.

Ted Cruz has said and done a lot that is ill advised lately. He seems to be in self-destruct mode.

Then who does? Just look at the lifetime track record of the current standard bearer in The Oval Office.

No single politician, on either side, is the entire party. Do you guys want to claim that Maxine Waters = the Democrat Party? Really?

Edit to add: I've been working to help elect a Democrat for mayor in our NJ town. I would NOT do that if I thought all Democrats were like Maxine.

The guy in The Oval Office has the support of many segments of the party. Do you not support the standard bearer? A yes or no will do.

Not because Ted is a Republican, but he is an embarrassment in so many ways. He folded like a cheap suit when Trump called him and his dad names during the election. The only courage he showed was when he refused to affirm Trump as their candidate, and I thought that was his shining moment. But, alas, it didn't last long.

He even looks like a whipped dog.
